We are very proud of the Rapid Personnel app which launched during the coronavirus lockdown in April 2020. The app contains a number of useful features which make it easier for our staff to communicate with us and accept shift bookings, and also for our clients to have their roles filled faster.
The app has proved to be invaluable over the past 6 months where face to face contact has been limited and our consultants have been working remotely.
Some of the features in the current version include:
The ability to accept shift bookings with one touch of your screen – no more reason to have to visit the Rapid office or call and speak with a consultant. This is especially useful if you are accepting a shift for the following day/week while on your lunch break, or do not have time to make a phone call.
The ability to arrange your transport requirements – including the days you’d like to use our bus service and also which bus stop you’d like to use
QR code scanning when you use the bus – simply open the app, scan the QR code each time you use our bus and receive an invoice at the end of each week which can then be paid through the app using your debit card. No more cash required. Easy.
Request holiday and holiday pay – no need to call the office and then complete a separate holiday form. Just request it through the app and it will be sent to the office for authorisation.
P45 request – As simple as touching your screen. Once you have accepted a full time role or decided to end your employment with Rapid you can request your P45 through the app and any remaining holiday pay will also be calculated along with your final payslip

Meet the Team – Since the coronavirus lockdown it has become much more challenging to meet face to face. We think it’s important that all of our staff know who they’re working with so we’ve added a section to the app where you can see us all and get a better understanding of our roles within the business and how we can support your job search and employment. We have some really exciting features in development for version 2 of the app which will make life even easier and we can’t wait to share these with you as and when they go live!
