International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
At Rapid Personnel we value the substantial contribution made by women throughout our workforce. Today is a great time to recognise the unique experiences and perspectives that women bring to the table. Our commitment to gender diversity starts with our own office based team. We are proud to have women in business critical roles from management, to finance, payroll and client services.
We believe that when women thrive, we all thrive, and at Rapid, we recognise that our success depends on creating a work environment where all employees can realise their full potential, in a culture of respect and achievement.
Diversity of culture, gender, age, experience and expertise enhance our ability to operate effectively and ethically, whilst increasing the sustainability of our business. We are acutely aware that our business is more sustainable and therefore better able to drive value for our clients and candidates, if we can draw on a wealth of diverse experience.
With that in mind, we seek to increase diversity at all levels of our organisation. Our Diversity and Inclusion Policy outlines, amongst other things, our commitment to provide equality, fairness and respect for all employees, regardless of background.
Historically, women have revolutionised the workplace through their perspectives, skills and expectations. We have seen them introduce new approaches to managing people and working in teams. And they often lead the way to new ways of working that support work-life effectiveness, such as alternative and flexible work programs.
When we take chances on people by presenting them with opportunities, providing coaching and setting them up for success – we are paving the way for a richer, more diverse and gender-equal workplace.
